According to the 2018 Global Risk Management Index, Turkey is a ‘high-risk’ country in terms of humanitarian crises and disasters. According to the Index’s hazard and exposure score, Turkey is the 10th most risky country. We cannot foresee when and where disasters will occur. For this reason, there is a chance that we all can become victims of disasters.
As Kızılay, we continue to work with all our strength and capacity against natural or man-made disasters that have long-lasting effects on people, such as earthquakes, fires, migration flows, epidemics, and floods. We produce quick solutions to food, clothing, shelter, hygiene and health needs that emerge during emergency settings.
We are working hard to ensure that your zakat donations are delivered to those in need during these times.
